how rain forms

Rain is water that falls from clouds. This vapour rises cools and changes into
tiny water droplets which form clouds. The water droplets in the clouds
join together to form bigger drops. When the water droplets get too large
and heavy they fall as rain.

How rain forms is happening right now as I make a comment on your post.I am sitting in the window seat watching it gently fall on the deck outside.

  2. Hi Rhys,
That sounds exactly right, and certainly in the last few days we have had some of this!
I’d love to see some pictures to go with your information too.
    Thank Rhys

  3. One part of the water cycle is certainly working well in Greymouth at the moment. This is a nice, simple explanation, Rhys, but I agree with Mrs Jamieson, some illustrations would be helpful.
